The second largest car maker in India, Hyundai Motor has officially launched the Grand i10 hatchback in the Indian car market, on Tuesday 3rd of September, with a starting price tag of Rs. 4.29 lakh. With this new flashy premium hatch, Hyundai has all plans to give its bitter rival and the Indian car market leader Maruti Suzuki a very tough competition.
The Hyundai Grand i10 has already arrived at the dealership showrooms and is ready to hit the roads. This global i10 replacer is placed above the regular i10 in India and is also 100mm longer than its European counterpart. Armed with swanky international looks, bold body lines and great features with some in-class firsts, the Hyundai Grand i10 is all set to light fire in the compact car segment. The new hatch boasts of the Korean car major’s Fluidic design language and is a perfect choice for the young and trendy generation of India.
The Hyundai Grand i10 is bigger, better and more premium than the regular i10 model available in India and offers a whole lot more to the car consumers. Under the hood, the new Hyundai Grand i10 petrol variant comes powered by a 1.2 Liter Kappa Dual VTVT motor, which can churn out a maximum power of 85PS. The hatch’s diesel avatar is driven by second generation 1.1 liter U2 CRDi motor that can produce the maximum power of 71 PS.
