After the amazing and successful release of Hyundai Grand i10 last month, the company has terminated the production of 1.2l version of Hyundai i10, in order to make some space for the face-lifted version of the series. The Euro Specification 2014 Hyundai i10 petrol was unveiled earlier in the month of August and the car has made its grand entry in India as Grand i10 after being publicly revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
In India, the new Generation 2014 Hyundai i10 has been named as Grand i10 and is categorised in the middle of the i20 and previous generation i10. The hatchback comes with a far better look, different style, enhanced features and has been designated as a perfect replacement for the previous Gen i10. The 2014 Hyundai i10 is bigger than the previous car. It is larger by 80mm, lower in height by 50mm and broader by 65mm.
In the European market, the i10 will be launched in 1.0l 3-cylinder petrol motor as well as 1.2l Kappa2 petrol motor. There is no such sign of any diesel version till now. The 2014 i10 petrol version is compacted with all-aluminium 1.2l Kappa mill that gets its power from the Twin VTVT mechanism.
