The Hyundai Motor Co is progressing with its expansion plans in India to bring its internationally popular cars to local market and also remodeling a few popular models with better interior and exterior features. A large number of its models which are being brought to India are hybrids which have not had a good stint in local markets due to expensive maintenance.

The Hyundai i10 has been among its popular cars which will be launched with vibrant design and bolder looks on exterior enhanced with LED daytime lights and alloy wheels. Among Hyundai upcoming cars the 3 door version of i10 also is likely to be launched after its popularity in international markets. It had not been brought to India all these years since people earlier preferred family cars, but now there is a growing interest in compact cars. Till date only a few models have been sighted as private cars therefore markets expect that a three door Hyundai i10 may be formally launched soon in Indian markets.

Hyundai’s Elantra series have had a successful run with various variants sold in Indian markets for past 4 to five years. This model which won several awards due to classy design and impressive features within a modest price range is now being replaced with a remodeled body and new name. The Hyundai Equus which is likely to be introduced in US, UK and European markets will be available in two trims namely Signature and Ultimate. The Hyundai Equus will have a five liter 429 horsepower engine capable of good mileage.

Inspired by the success of its Santa Fe SUV, Hyundai is planning to launch its Tucson also in India. This bold looking model has a large grille flanked by sweeping headlights with muscular looking wheel guards. This Hyundai Upcoming car will have a powerful 2 liter diesel engine with 175 bhp ideal for fuel conscious customers. In keeping with its sports car image it will have a central LCD with a satellite navigation device on its dash board to display data along with an automatic climate control system. This five-seater SUV shall have a spacious cabin with rear foldable seats to store luggage.
Besides the Tucson, Hyundai is also planning to launch its Hexaspace in India which had been presented for public viewing at Indian Auto Expo in 2012. Expected to be available in both diesel and petrol variants this Hyundai upcoming car will have modern comfort and safety features with a high-tech entertainment system.
