Hyundai i10 Grand draws 33,000 buyers in just three months

Hyundai Motors India Limited, India’s second largest passenger car manufacturer has recorded phenomenal results with the i10 Grand. Launched in 2013 September, Hyundai has sold 33,000 pieces of the car. The car industry at present is going through its share of turbulence, and Hyundai has managed to draw sufficient buyers for i10 Grand.

Grand i10 runs with an engine capacity of 1.2 liter Kappa with the petrol car, the technology used here is called (Variable Valve Timing Train) and its displacement capacity is 1197cc. The petrol car pumps out 114Nm and 82 bhp, coming to the diesel engine; this is Hyundai’s first attempt in building a diesel U2 1120cc mill that yields 160Nm and 70bhp.

To suit its eye candy image the car is sold in vibrant and vivacious shades of StarDust, Phantom Black, Silky Beige, Sleek Silver, Twilight Blue, Wine Red, Pure White and Golden Orange.

Step into the insides of i10 Grand, the atmosphere is nothing but plush, contributed by the royal black and beige theme. The plastic quality is rich, and is filled with interesting features such as world class in dash audio system with Bluetooth, Aux-in and USB connectivity, audio controls on steering, professionally designed center console and dashboard. To render a high tech car image, there is a sophisticatedly designed fuel indicator, trip meter and speedometer.

The enormous comfort levels are contributed by the stop or start button, smart key access, chilled glove box, and adjustable external wing mirrors. To complete the overall thrill factor of the car is its killer price tag of 4.38 to 6.53 lakhs.
