Hyundai i30 has remained a premium hatchback that has been designed by the Hyundai Company for the year 2007. The second generation of the variant is all set and ready to be launched in the year 2014, and has been designed by its German team for design and technical center. The vehicle has already been launched in Canada, Australia and at the European markets and is available in three variants, namely two doors, 5 doors and as toured variant in these countries. The vehicle is manufactured in both diesel and petrol variants and in both manual and automatic transmission gearbox controls.
The launch of the i30 variant of Hyundai has not been planned yet for the Indian sub-continent, though its launch could be expected in the first or second quarters of the year 2014 in India. The last launch from Hyundai in the country is the Hyundai Eon model, in the year 2011 October.

Both the petrol and diesel engines would feature a 1.4 litre and a 1.6 litre engine and the 1.4 litre diesel engine would afford a power of 90 PS while the 1.6 litre engine would offer power of 128 PS. The foundation of the engine motors are pretty strong and would deliver up to 76.3 mpg under standard conditions. The engine also offers the best carbon dioxide emission rate of 97 g/km which would translate as decreased road tax rates for the Indian customers. The vehicle features a powerful diesel engine that is capable of breaking the 100g/km threshold and the petrol model is equally powerful and is capable of churning out a power of 118 bhp and could attain about 62 mph in just 10.9 seconds.
