Engine capacity and performance:
Hyundai Grand i10 is powered by a diesel enginethat displaces a power of 1120 cc and has the capacity to churn out a power of 70 bhp through its diesel engine at about 4000 RPM and a torque of 160 Nm at about 1500 RPM. Its petrol variant on the other hand is powered by an 1197 cc petrol engine that is capable of producing power and torque values of 81 bhp and 114 Nm respectively. Both the engines are mated with a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox system facilitating front wheel drive.
The Honda Brio on the other hand is equipped with an 1198 CC i-VTEC petrol engine that is capable of churning out a power of 88 bhp at about 6000 RPM and this SOHC petrol engine could offer a torque of 109 Nm at about 4500 rpm. The Honda Brio is an automatic model that is modelled with a 5 speed automatic transmission system and the acceleration and the performance of the petrol engine is excellent though they are churned out from a 1.2 liter engine. The car is capable of reaching 100 kmph in just 16 seconds owing to the light weight design of the car and the 5 speed manual transmission system.
